HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade attended the 45th ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting/Post Ministerial Conference (AMM/PMC) in Phnom Penh.

10 – 11 January 2012
HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade attended ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Retreat in Siem Reap.

28 October 2012
HRH Prince Haji Abdul ‘Azim represented His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in paying final respects to the late King-Father Norodom Sihanouk.

Foreign Minister Hor Namhong attended the 19th ASEAN – EU Ministerial Meeting.

 

Bilateral Relations

  • The two countries enjoy warm and friendly relations.
  • Areas of cooperation include trade, education and defence.
  • Visas are waived for citizens from the two countries for the period of 14 days.
  • Brunei Darussalam continues to offer scholarships to Cambodian students to do PhD, Masters, Degree and Diploma Programmes in various fields at Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), Universiti Islam Sultan Shariff Ali (UNISSA) and Institut Teknologi Brunei (ITB).
