Bilateral Relations

  • Relations between the two countries are good and cooperation is mostly focused on trade, education, human resource and defence.
  • 29 February 2012 marked the 20th Anniversary of Brunei – Vietnam diplomatic relations.
  • There have been 4 Bilateral Consultative Meetings (BSM) since 2000.
  • Brunei has been importing rice from Vietnam since 2007.
